The Anchorage School District is seeking applicants for the position of Purchasing Agent/Contract Administrator. This position supervises and coordinates the preparation of bids, quotations and purchase orders for supplies, equipment and minor construction and contracted services. Additionally, this position serves as the contract administrator for construction and professional services contracts.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a Purchasing, Business Administration or related field and five years increasingly responsible organizational purchasing experience. Prior knowledge of governmental purchasing and specification preparation is required.
