Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous cashiering experience is preferred.

Language Skills: Must speak and understand English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, forms, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Desired Skills and Abilities
1. Minimum 6 months cashiering or related experience.
2. Strong math, accuracy, precision analytical and reasoning abilities.
3. Able to deal tactfully and pleasantly with customers.
4. Previous experience operating specialized equipment or business experience, such as typing, selling, or handling money.
5. Well organized.
6. Ability to respond to needs of team/site.

The pay rate for this position is $12.27/13.46/hr for Cashier/Dining Facility Attendant. PT, 20-39 hrs/wk. The schedule for this position varies. Located at the Ft. Richardson Dining Facility.
