Purchased from Sears in Dec. 1998 as part # 583131-854 replacement auger housing for Sears Craftsman 24" snowthrower model 536.885470. But its NOT. By the time I got around to replacing it a year or two later it was too late to return it. Been gathering dust in the shed ever since.
Not sure which model it actually fits, there are no identifying numbers on it. It differs from the one I need in that it has a smaller 2.5 x 4.25 in. rectangular exit chute rather than the larger circular one I need. Also has fewer holes on back side. Take a look at photos and see if it fits yours. Call me or send email if you need additional measurements.
