Gus Domestic Longhair Senior Male in Anchorage, Alaska

My story
Meet Gus, aka “Toothless” due to having to get half of his teeth removed. The poor guy just couldn’t catch a break. After going to the vet to get fixed, the vet discovered Gus’s terrible teeth abscess and swollen face. Gus had to go back for round two of surgery. This did not stop Gus from being one of the most loving and trusting cats his foster has ever seen. When Gus arrived at his foster, he was covered in scabs, and scars. The life as a stray cat is not easy. After having a few days to decompress and heal, Gus was ready for affection. He was timid, but ready to learn how to live in a home. He was quick to learn and discovered that the best place to be is in the lap of a human. Gus would love to be in a home with a person who enjoys a lap cat and gives lots of pets. Gus is giant, but he is very gentle. He occasionally will growl out the window at birds. We believe that he is an older cat. He does fine around other cats, gentle children, and calm dogs. He will need a safe place to go outside in nice weather if he chooses. He's a most wonderful boy and will be purrfect for a loving family.
